I have found that dentistry has moved from the family dentist by name to cute-sounding dental offices. This is good for marketing and makes it far easier to sell a practice or hire dentists to work in it. As a result I have seen profit motive come in as never before. Dentistry is about the up-sell now to add to the price. They can’t explain why “measuring my gums” is any benefit to me. They are what they are and if nothing can be done, the collection of this data is meaningless - except it’s one more billable item.This scaler filled a need for me.
