WeatherSeal Exterior Wood Finish is an oil based, alkyd resin, semi-transparent wood finish designed for use on Log Homes, Wood Siding, Shake Shingles as well as decks, railings wood furniture and wood playground equipment. WeatherSeal has a creamy thick yet penetrating formula that "clings" to vertical surfaces, virtually eliminating the drippy mess and wasteful runoff typical of most regular stains. WeatherSeal uses a Low VOC clean air formula and is fortified with borates. WeatherSeal stain soaks into the wood leaving a rich natural wood appearance. WeatherSeal’s highly durable oil-based resins, waterproofers, and special performance boosters really hold up to the elements by shielding the wood against harmful UV rays. WeatherSeal’s transparent iron oxide pigments give WeatherSeal its translucent beauty while maintaining the natural wood look for a long period of time.
